Question by epicninja: Whats a good upper body workout for wrestling? I will be starting wrestling in the coming month and I am looking for a hardcore upper body workout; please note that I workout alone and at the YMCA (has a pool) thanks alot! Best answer:

Well I wrestled for 5 years in middle/high school, I'd say focus on your deltoids and quads the most. You'll be in a weight class, so don't go all out on things like your traps (unnecessary weight). Do some isometric lifts like chin-ups and pull-ups, cardio a few days a week, and a some free-weight training.
